I know people like to mock rom-coms, but Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon made an interesting point the other day about why it’s bad that these types of films no longer exist.

Perhaps a less lazy take on this would have been, people are freaking out over something fun and harmless because the rest of the word is total shit at the moment and we could really use some solid comfort food at the moment.

They ARE ruining the medium. Smaller films or even medium budget films are barely getting made or promoted because these incredibly repetitive superhero films suck up almost all the studio money. Exactly! I love the squad, but to make this photo about them and how you felt they were disrespected is just so weird. Lots of people do their jobs, but very few rise far above that in this way.
