She’s got PR people and has always had them. If you call them something else you can claim not to have a publicist. She even has a DC fixer on the payroll who is the original Olivia Pope.

There are several respectable articles in the New York Times and The New Yorker that suggest as much. Not exactly US Weekly type of publications. I’m sure she’s helped a few people, but it’s minuscule compared to how much it’s helped her.
