TF2 is the better shooter, BF1 is the better set piece. If you value high qaulity sound and a stream lined experince go with BF1, if you want the better gameplay TF2 is much better, this is based off the betas I played.

French only get that rep from WW1 when their old style of charging with bayonets to cause some of the most unwanted fighting imaginble backfired in the face of new technology. Before that they were known to be pretty vicious.
