Finally beat No One Lives Forever 1 earlier this week and I can say with complete confidence that NOLF 1 is a mediocre, if not bad, videogame.

No, they fought the British to revolt against oppressive taxes brought on by an oppressive and disconnected government. The land stealing from Native-Americans, slavery and the rest were either secondary motives or causes that only became relevant after the war.

having black people on your writing staff doesnt guarantee accurate or sensitive portrayals of slavery

i mean if the american revolution was fought to explicitly preserve slavery then you'd have something of a point but um that wasn't the actual case so you don't have a point at all.

I just watched this film and came away thinking that it was…okay? The first half hour or so was brilliant and then it kind of plateaued for me. The parts that focused on the soldiers were the best imo. The pilot bits were kinda meh and same for the sailing boat parts.

its a decent 3rd person shooter that suffers from playing it *too* safe at times imo

i thought the death animations were fine because that brutal stuff was what the game was going for in terms of atmosphere

i think they're solid games that do some things (puzzles & platforming) better than uncharted imo

i got the Arkham remaster as well but from the reviews I read before buying it i'm not expecting much. hopefully the patches fixed them FPS issues

Finishing up No One Lives Forever 1 and plan on playing the mediocre Arkham remaster for PS4 (it was on sale for $15.99! I couldn't resist!).

um i liked this album alot. i thought it was pretty good

Gonna attempt the final Elusive target in Hitman, play some Yakuza 0 and finish No One Lives Forever 1 (which, honestly, kind of sucks).

Nah, disagree with this alot. Uncharted's combat is a big part if what makes it fun.

GoW4 is like a continuation from GoW1 in terms of its focus on family & redemption imo and I don't think any of the footage released so far makes it seem like this game also won't have over-the-top & fun combat and setpieces.

Its available on the Playstation Store for PS3 and PSP. Not PS4 though.
