I'm in agreement here. I wrote about this on my blog (self-promotion alert):

Depends on why I need a mood boost. If I'm angry, I listen to Linkin Park, which doesn't remove the aggression, but twists it so I feel powerful instead of hateful. If I'm sad, I usually make the sadness useful—I write my best poetry or music when I'm depressed. If I really need to feel better, I'll go spend some time

I'm laughing just thinking about that. That's hilarious.

It appears that the one time I sharpied a shirt, some other variable screwed things up for me. I rescind my hasty criticism.

Your experience has been different than mine; I didn't have anything inside the shirt to keep it from running, though. Maybe it's worth another shot.

There is a craft paint that works on fabric, but it's pretty ugly and chips off. That's the only one I'm aware of.

Sharpies aren't great for T-shirts. And they run in the wash.

I agree that hatchets are awesome.

Now, girls. Enough fighting.

Wow. Product placement, much.

I work at one of the finest restaurants in Utah, with one of the highest-rated chefs. I'm not a cook, but I do see a lot of cooking happening, and the "high" setting is used quite a lot. Also, the cooks tend to turn the oven higher (by 50 or 100 degrees) than I would, for the same type of food.

On item 3, the third "it's" in the second sentence should be "its."

Don't try to iron microwave popcorn. It doesn't work. No matter how long you iron it for.

This is the one I use:

Pizza dough.

There is one rule if you are a beginning guitarist.

To be fair, my floor is carpeted.

Use Wikipedia to read up on major players in the genre, and use Youtube to listen to their biggest hits and pick out elements that define the genre.

I've got a couple of things that were gifts from family members, and I make sure to use/wear them when they are around. Honestly, my family is pretty laid back, and probably wouldn't mind if I didn't. Best to gauge the potential pissedness of your grandma, and act from there.

I know I've posted about this before, but I've been sleeping on the floor all summer. It sounds Spartan, but there are tons of advantages. I can sleep anywhere I want, my back feels better, and I honestly think my sleep has been richer and more effective.
