100% this except for interior. The c6 is going to age very well on everything but interior. The styling is a bit more restrained and classic, unlike the angular boy racer look of c7/c8. Lighter chassis.

Just wish the interior wasn’t so bad. 

I’m an overlander in the same way my dad was, we just call it camping and it’s pretty simple.
