I totally agree. I have been a German/British/Japanese buyer over the past 10 years and Ford/Lincoln is the only US brand that has vehicles that appeal to me. I’m thinking about replacing our current family hauler (MB GL) with the new Aviator. 

No, this is a halo model for the brand. This plays in the tier above a Model S. The only thing that these cars have in common is the whole EV thing. The Taycan is much more premium than a Model S.

Its nice but I really don’t see my self replacing my GL with this. Most likely I will end up with a new GLS in another year or so when I need to replace my GL, but time will tell. It looks nice enough but don’t really see anything special to make me switch. The GLS at least comes with some mild hybrid tech.
