Why buy any car when an S65AMG will eventually, someday, be the same price?
why stop there, you can totatlly get a c5 corvette and it will smoke both.
Yeah, but the previous owner of that BMW probably farted a lot in the car before you bought it. Do you want a car that has been pre-farted in?
And lose out on everything that makes the R the R. I think the sport trim is probably going to be a more usable real-world car but c’mon. Once the engine size changes and there’s all types of changes to the suspension you’re fighting a losing battle in beefing up the sport to Type R levels.
That said, it will be…
Totally true. This car is wonderful stock. These cars are quick off the line and peel out very nicely on a regular basis, what more do you want. What is this extra power people want for and when would you even use it?
Yup! Car people are experts at moving the goalposts.
Long term repair record.
What I want to know is why in gods name did they put those fake vents on the rear? It just ruins the look for me.
I assume it’ll have a better shifter

Completely new platform from the 6 series and will be optioned with a V-12. I’m not exactly sure what you’d expect a modern 8 series to be.
why exactly would it weigh 4500 pounds? the last M5 was 4400 pounds, the new one is announced has weighing 200 less. why would a smaller coupe weigh 300 pounds more than the M5?
The 6 series coupe and gran coupe looked fantastic. I really hope the build a new 6 series, because I would hate for this thing to take the 6's place.
I still wonder what the ATS-V did there. But for the S60 to beat an M4 is pretty impressive and quite surprising.
There is nothing wrong with a GT car being a good GT car.
Party pooper here.
The 8 Series was a pig. Sure, you could get it with a manual, but with that much torque and an engine not exactly all that rev-happy, what was the point?
Also, there is a very good reason that the M people never stuck one of their (once) hallowed letters on the ass of the 850CSi: It was far more of…
