“A PS4 hard drive on a machine just above minimum specs”
This is a worst case scenario test.
That's the problem I have with this. I'm not a gambler but safe money is on Musk unironically tweeting about this as if it was a compliment within the next week.
See, I quibble with this parallel in that Mr. House is actually smart and put together long-term plans that made sense and stuck to them. Space Karen X is nowhere near his level, if he were put in place of house he’d have probably lost interest in the platinum chip after a month of looking.
The Switch is Nintendo but also everything else is Nintendo. The Council of 90s Moms signed this into law.
engagement at that level keeps the population up and the game running. Most people don’t complete them.
For many popular games, the full cost of the battle pass can be earned back by completing the battle pass. And those games are free-to-play.
The Sony WF-1000XM5s also finally gain “Multipoint” connectivity allowing them to be simultaneously connected to two different devices at the same time
If they won’t keep them available to stream and won’t put out physical copies for purchase, creating your own de facto preservation society seems to simply be the right thing to do. For history’s sake, if nothing else. :)
Valve isn’t going to give you store credit because they don’t need to. Plenty of people are willing to buy games on Steam without any added incentive. The same can’t be said for EGS which is why Epic has spent billions on coupons, giveaways, etc, and is willing to literally lose money during the big sales.
I did not think Tenet was “a joy to watch”. Except for the freeway chase sequence, I hated every second of this self-indulgent garbage. The deliberate decision to make the dialog unintelligible is completely baffling.
I certainly don’t oppose others paying for the service but I’m not into paying for a thing when the content was given to the company for free and I’m the product.
That would by very dependent on who is running the service.
How do we make the determination that these nominations are a result of Emmy voters watching insufficient television, rather than their having different opinions?
How is fighting against AI dumb? It’s been obvious from the start that Big Tech and Hollywood wants to replace all human labor with AI, which very much gives the strike an incentive. The problem is that these sociopaths and psychopaths in power are trying to steal from everyone through any means necessary. It doesn’t…

Also would consider replacing a hybrid “commuter car” with one. I would not buy a $50k+ vehicle for that job though. More like a Bolt, but those are gone, and the ones that remain are marked up.
The new hotness that was EVs has seemed to start cooling off.
I guess the number of people willing to finance a $50K vehicle with a $10k dealer markup at ~6% is minimal.
I have been in the market for an EV to replace a still totally fine daily driven hybrid for a couple years, but was unwilling to pay a dealer markup of an already higher cost vehicle and now interest rates are making me continue to hold off.
