initially only started paying attention to Barstool for PFT, but Big Cat earned a ton of my respect.

I love PFTCommenter an unhealthy amount, but referring to Big Cat as just a sidekick seems like a petty attack for no reason, especially since Pardon My Take is far and away the best part of Barstool and the best sports podcast IMO
Hush you. You should know that logic is not permitted here.
1. Republication is republication. It doesn’t matter whether they’re just repeating defamation from somewhere else.
Nope. This is really misleading and they’re going to end having to correct it unless something else comes out.
He hit the game winning shot in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. He “hit himself some nice shots in the playoffs” the same way that Lebron “showed a little hustle” when he came out of the rafters to block Igudola.
Yeah, it appears that Republican Party will completely implode within the next few years, although maybe not.
“He also blamed the “alt-left,” a wholly imaginary group created as a sort of moral-equivalent boogeyman by both white nationalists and some liberals to create a sense of parity between a racist movement and efforts by normal non-racists to shut them down.”
Let’s be honest here. My race, native Americans are never brought up because it’s the past. Would black people stop complaining about the past. We had it worse and you don’t see us jumping up and down about it. It’s a fucking show get over it, It’s make believe
Chris Froome had a mechanical issue, and Aru went past him right as he was signaling for help. Debates over the ethics of attacking while rivals are in trouble are often murky and inconclusive; this one was not
baseball is a regional sport? maybe if you consider Earth as a region? i believe baseball stretches through many more countries and communities around the world than american football does
Did this story get posted before the rest was ready or something? I feel like it ends 25% of the way through.
Paul is probably the best point guard of his generation, yet he’s never even made the conference finals.
I don’t support the OP’s views per se, but the “not everyone’s fat because they’re lazy and eat like shit” line is a bit overplayed. It can’t be more than 1% of fat people who are fat because of some real medical issue. The vast majority of us could do something about it if we wanted to badly enough.
What does she have to apologize for? She didn’t come up with this stupid add campaign. She’s an actress. She’s not a studio exec, she’s not a exec producer, she’s not a director, she’s not the ad exec or a member of their teams. Why is she apologizing for someone else’s stupidity and insensitivity?
I’m getting real tired of fat people treating obesity like a protected class. ‘Body shaming’ is for things you can’t control, like height or facial structure. Being fat is a choice. Fat people should be shamed like smokers. - Sincerely, a fat guy that’s doing something about it instead of complaining when people call…
But everybody’s OK with princes being unattractive because they’re short?
So why are there only 3 articles with the Barstool Sports tag in the entirety of Deadspin history? Compare that with their coverage of The Ringer, for example.
Not trying to pick sides here, but one thing Barstool definitely kicks Deadspin’s ass at is actual engagement with athletes. A LOT of athletes follow Barstool and interact with their writers and appear in their content (in their podcasts, in their videos, etc.). Barstool invented the “SATURDAYS ARE FOR THE BOYS”…
Pardon My Take is better than anything Deadspin has going on. Now go back to posting Hulk Hogan sex tapes and complying with gay porn stars to extort Conde Naste executives.
