Hm, I felt a lot of it was exposition and repeating itself. I got tired pretty quickly. I mean, at least it’s not as bad as .hack//Link’s record of repeating stuff, buuuuuuut...

I dunno, I felt Trails in the Sky burned me out more than anything. I played FC Evo and started SC Evo on my PS Vita, but I felt myself finally just wanting to play something else (Tales of Rebirth, namely). The battles are weak, the story is pretty predictable... And the pacing is kind of abysmal.

My picks: Dark Cloud (2), (if that counts), Mana Khemia (1 and 2), Ar Tonelico (1 and 2, not 3), Boku to Maoh (Okage), The Last Story (which is on there yayz), Shadow Hearts: From the New World, Tales of Rebirth, and Dengeki Gakuen RPG: Cross of Venus SP.

It’s too bad they didn’t connect the English version with the Japanese one; I can’t become friends with my friends back in the states! D:

Holy crap, the theme song for Pretty Cure Max Heart started playing on my iPod’s shuffle (out of 10,000 songs) when I saw this article. DA WUUUUT

As a question, what about extra content being sold separately? For example, a sound test mode as paid DLC. -_-;

Because the game is translated and censored pretty badly (censored in the content and translation sense).

I wrote “eroge” (porn game) as something that’s been popular lately, and my character blushed. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

I love how the text at the bottom of the TV says “Viewers, please watch this program with partial visuals and sound.” They actually had to explain why there were all these black bars.

Better yet just means that there’s an extra option, and extra options are always good. ;)

I don’t care if they get rid of the first-person speak. I do that all the time in my pro localizations. But also, merry lol

“That whole mindset—that Japanese has ‘correct’ translations into English and that localizers are people who mangle those perfect answers—is misguided.”

Nah man, loss of life (characters) makes me sick. I don’t really care about you saying only your way is the right away and leaving out other members of the fanbase. I just want you to understand that having the casual option leaves the doors open for so many more people. And no, I’m not missing a more powerful story.

Copying over my post:

I never got into the Fire Emblem series in the first place BECAUSE there was permadeath. I have a very strong conscience, and I get very, very attached to characters. Characters dying forever makes me sick to my stomach, literally. The guilt makes me ill (hence why I could never play Pikmin and things like that). The

Been playing Cross Ange and Freedom Wars on mine, but for original games, that’s about it. Playing lots of ports, and enjoy them immensely, though.

They changed Nishiki’s name to KADEN?

Playing Ghost Trick at request of my friend. Awwww dat Pomeranian.

Because the Japanese versions are the ones I've played. No need for an attitude.

I really enjoyed Byakuya Oukoku (Birthright) as my first Fire Emblem game, and played it all the way through. It was a great entry.
