This is correct (I've, uh, seen Tangled many many times) Rapunzel is turning 18, and Flynn/Eugene is 26. Officially, according to Disney, theirs is the largest age gap.

My fiance and I had to have our cat euthanized in June (15 year old cat who had liver cancer, we felt putting him through treatments would be cruel), and the vet we took him to sent us a little coaster-sized plaque with his name and paw print in it.

I think I'm both? I'm a night owl, am usually awake until 2 or 3 AM, but then I'm awake by 8:30.

It actually was cross-posted here Friday afternoon/early evening.

This was my thought, too. Sure, 21 isn't super young to be having a child, but it is really young to die.

Yeah, I actually have one from the late 70's and one from the 80's, and may wind up getting the newest edition eventually.

The Betty Crocker cookbook is my go-to for daily use. Other than that, I google recipes a lot.

Wow. I saw the cover while at Barnes & Noble this afternoon, but really only out of the corner of my eye, so I didn't see the wording. I'm fully in agreement with you and your mom that it's inappropriate. Like your boyfriend, my fiance didn't get what the big deal was.

Pretty much this. She's only 5'1 or 5'2, so of course any little bit of weight she gains is gonna show no matter what. She really doesn't look extremely big.

No problem! I'm a major movie nerd (my friends call me a walking IMDB) and have seen the movie and read the book quite a few times, and like throwdetta, I tend to get a little twitchy when I see it written as Ratchet :)

The character in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest had the last name Ratched, not Ratchet. That's what throwdetta is referring to.

While they'd all had movie roles, I think you're right and they were 'excluded' because they're more known for their TV roles.

My cat does that to me, and kneads my belly while he's doing it.

While home alone one day, I decided I wanted some soup, so I attempted to open a can. Our electric can opener was defective and never opened cans all the way, so I attempted to finish the job by using a knife to pry the partially opened can open the rest of the way. This worked fine until I sliced my finger open to
