We used to have a restaurant here that had Taco Tuesdays—2 tacos for $1. Four families would go every week with our kids and chow down till we were all full, spend maybe $15 per family including drinks. Damn, that was great.

I was amazed when these first arrived in the US. A friend and I went to a dealer to check one out for his business, and in the standard size with no bubble top, my 6'2" friend could stand upright. Almost ridiculous for anything other than business use.

Plenty of 'em here in California—they park on back country crossroads, in parking lots in town, everywhere. The world's best tacos come from taco trucks.
