For the people that think they're smart OSX is not an app its an os - no operating system is universally superior to another so be quite.

I recall spending 2 hours on play.com trying to change my password filling them in over and over. Finally I realised I could listen to the letters to type in, they completely different from what was in the drawing...

Almost every tablet looks the same/similar, its all a bit of a joke really.

Most people charge their phone every day so as far as Power consumption goes I can't see much of a drawback. You'd probably waste more battery waiting for apps to load because you closed them to free memory.

I look forward to not getting this update until next year

My first mac was a powerbook G4. Loved that little laptop and still have it somewhere, it stopped turning on about 3 years ago and haven't been able to fix it

I would have thought the title should be "Install Windows 8 on Windows 7 tablet".

Kind of misleading title

I have red hair as does most of my family. I'm finding it funny reading all the nonsense people are writing. I do understand why parent may not want a child with red if they themselves do not have red hair, but most other reasons seems a bit silly tbh.

With HTML5 becoming popular I can see no reason why Flash is needed anyway. Its slow, buggy and just plain annoying to work with imho.

I use Go Launcher EX. Works wonderfully. Its runs well enough on my Galaxy ace, there is no lag in transitions and scrolling is very smooth. I do notice it impacted restarts a lot though, but I don't restart my phone that often.

I'm not trying to say he doesn't deserve the press, but its a bit much when every other blog entry and tweet etc are saying basically the same thing.

I'm fed up hearing about Steve Jobs. I didn't read the article to be honest just thought I'd say that the guy did some great things but a lot of other people have too and haven't got as much coverage in their life time as Steve Jobs has got in the past few days.
