@Herabek: imo it isn't unless you hate your wallet. I run a phenom II 955 overclocked to 3.8Ghz and it performs brilliantly.

@Kent: The only problem i ever had with an ATI driver was when i got my second 5770 for crossfire. Ubuntu went crazy after I put it in.
