I have an A4Tech X7 mouse which has a button that has about 12 different pre-set sensitivity options and it also comes with a program that lets me change the functionality of each button (even letting me assign a certain sequence of events, for example buying a certain loadout in CSS). They look pretty good but I'm happy with my Kicker HP541 headphones. The sound on these things is absolutely amazing and it only cost me about $65. To be honest, I tested these out side-by-side with some Bose headphones that cost about $200 and the Kicker headphones sounded so much better.

This list is more like 60 items you can't live without and 40 you can probably cut down on.

@anduin1: Actually I enjoy that type of gameplay a little. I was very fond of the total war series and a few other titles that escape my mind. It's just that for some reason, I never got around to playing any Sid Meier title.

I have yet to play a Civilization game. As a matter of fact, I have yet to play a Sid Meier game. Maybe I should start with Civ V

it's interesting how it manages to look like a certain environment depending on the eye color. For example a brown/dark eye tends to look more like a sand dune of some sort whereas a blue eye looks like an ocean with waves.
