Sort of. I spent, what, $7 on Fortnite’s battle pass over a year ago, and haven’t needed to spend any additional money to get every single battle pass since. OW2 is a far cry from that and feels gross in comparison.

I’m one of those original Overwatch players who’s glad I at least put in the time to earn decent-looking skins for each of the heroes cause in OW2 it’s now so much harder/grindier to get even basic cheap skins (unless you wanna pay of course).

On the other hand I like them and think they’re harmless.

Even if you're not even aware of Etika or have never heard of him, you don't just come to an article focused on a memorial and spout such a rude comment as that guy did. Gross.

I barely know who this person was, but even my tuned out mindset is aware of Etika. A memorial is not the place to say “who dis?”

Meanwhile the rest of the current player base is actually thankful for these changes which will:

I’m glad you included Danny’s tweet in this article, because it really does sum things up. “Gamers” have no clue how video games are made, and the insane cost and effort that is involved. Yet all of them feel like they should “have a voice” in the video game development process. Of course studios should gather

what im getting from this is that in order to see more behind the scenes footage of game development and a better understanding on how triple a games are produced, we need to generate takes so nightmarishly bad that developers will have no choice but to dunk on them

I literally only ever play franchise modes in my sports games, so right off the bat that’s my perspective.

At a high level the idea behind an immersive sim is that you don’t script anything, instead you simulate it all. For example, if such-and-such character is going to be standing out at their balcony having a meeting at time X, that happens at time X no matter where in the game world the player is - rather than in

When you were pretending not to know who was Rick and who was Morty earlier, who was that for?

TWO BROTHERS. IN A VAN.

Tbh one of the funniest things I’ve ever watched on TV. Idk how y’all can’t like that lol.

Same, as far as loot box mechanics go, I thought Overwatch’s model was much more agreeable than both many that came after and the many MMO gachapons that preceded it. Having a guaranteed box every time you leveled up, which as a so so casual player only took about 2 hours, was pretty nice and that’s on top of the 3

No, he is gloating they broke up.

I wouldn’t hold my breath on that happening.

You people are blind af

the opening area, was actually boring for me. It wasn’t until after leaving the intro area (white orchard) that the game actually got fun for me. I played the first area, then didn’t touch the game for a year or two, then picked up again

Lolwhat. Seriously, it’s like people are desperately searching for something to whine about. The two games are phenomenal and adult Gamers for fucking once should be proud that their favorite medium has two things it can point to that is actually good and not embarrassing.
