Ugh, those fuckers who pretend to be feminists are the wooorrst. It's enough to never make me trust men on dates again. You have to immediately discount the men who are obviously sexist but you can't trust the men who think they're uber liberal either. I keep wondering who this guy is because I know so many people in

He's a narcissist too. I'm so sorry that happened to you. I survived one also for 6 years.

i was married to a carbon copy of that guy for 18 years. after 18 months of heartbreak I was out the other side and life has been amazing ever since! kicked myself for being so devastated by such a mean spirited little boy of a man!

sadpears is right-on here. gaslighting is the fucking worst. glad you saw through pathetic man's pathetic tactic. so fucking spineless.

Glad you moved on, girl

Oh honey. Gaslighting is such a dick move. Glad you gtfo.

How about these two share the desk? Funny and adorable husband and wife team like Burns and Allen of olden days!

Now imaging that with adult humans and you are in my world...actually it's his world and we just live in it. If cats were human they would all be Rob Ford.

I agree with you. I don't get the hate either. While, yes, they could have casted a dancer, they also needed a theatrical actor to get the tone across without words, this isn't solely a dance piece. I think they both did a fantastic job.

Yeah, he seems like a shitty person, but they both performed beautifully here. It was moving, they had good chemistry. I think people are not picking up that it's supposed to be a father/daughter thing bc of the age difference. Also people like to hate on Shia.

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I really like this video. I've often said that it is a shame we (culturally) struggle with the idea that young women/girls can have non-sexual/romantic/informative/growth relationships with older men that aren't related to them. I didn't have a particularly close relationship

The nude leotard is nude because Sia wanted to strip everything from the dancers and make them seem vulnerable, which reflects the feelings she had as a child. Maddie represents a young Sia, hence the wig - it's the same cut as Sia's hair. Shia is supposed to evoke her father who dealt with mulitple personality

I agree with everyone commenting. It's both a little uncomfortable and weird, and shockingly engrossing. I love that I cared about these two nameless characters and that the song and video had me working to analyze what was being said.

I actually genuinely enjoyed this. It's a father in his cage of whatever is holding him down in place. The daughter, while in there, is very angry and clearly doesn't want to be there, and when the father tries to act affectionate she rebels and attacks, clearly not comfortable in that zone like he is. She gets out of

wow. i seriously never like these modern dance numbers, even though they're pretty they always seem too 'oh, look at me, i'm deeeeep' to get into. but this one, for some reason, got me right in the heart. i think it's a dichotomy between men and women, and the woman, girl, maddie, is coming into her own the more she

tay is everything the end, by adultosaur.

Whenever my white friends told me about how they smoked pot all the time, all I could think of is what my dad told me:
Don't do drugs. Don't break any laws. Don't do anything that the police can arrest you for, because they will have no mercy on you.

White kids don't feel this way. They blatantly would smoke pot in

Come on now. Pregnancy is your own fault. You don't deserve special accommodations for something you choose to do, as opposed to something outside your control like losing your license due to repeat DUIs.

Madison is one of my former students! This makes my heart so happy to see this. I see lots of comments about how her parents must be doing the right thing; her Mom is a single parent, so it's a feminist AND urban education win!
