@Andrea Michelle: I have little bumps all over my face - especially my chin. Some are bigger than others and resemble small zits (that are unpoppable), and others are teeny tiny.

@RetiredPartyGrrl: Hmmm. I would have never thought us "feminazis" were so single-minded.
@eastofwest: I don't doubt it and I know the source of my fears...a combination of popular culture and my parents' marriage. Doesn't mean they go away though.
@Ms.Andry: Can't edit my comment for some reason but wanted to add that I don't even know if I'm fertile, and that would probably change my opinion on the matter.
Uh, this might come off strangely but I'm terrified of having children for multiple reasons. One is little to no social programs to support me during pregnancy and after the little one is born. The other is countless reports from men (and a cultural symbolic system) that tells me I lose my sexual identity after giving…
@SlayBelle: I'm saying it should change. In cases of teen pregnancy, custody should be split 50/50 without question.
@Miss Suka: It wouldn't be about that though if the fathers were forced to take care of their child. What makes it so that these girls don't play video games? Harsh cultural pressure which says they need to care for the child. That is it - there is nothing more innately "human" about women than men.
@rowingrowingrowing: Most of these girls aren't, in reality, in "control" of their bodies. There are a multitude of cultural factors that will influence whether a young woman is pro or anti-choice.
@hausfrau76: I think the expectation is that the boy won't take care of the child, because we keep on representing parenthood this way.
Honestly I think we should stop judging the parenting abilities of teenage girls, and perhaps look to the absence and the parenting abilities of the teenage boys for a change.
This is my boyfriend's cousin. I have not met her, and would have absolutely no idea how I would react if I did.
@chancentrate: This is all really good advice! Our situation is a bit more complicated because we actually live down the street from one another.
This post is quite apt for me and the boyfriend. We've been together for almost three years now. We were in the same city for a year, long distance for a year, and then he moved to the city in which I lived. Most of our friends and family were shocked to find out we didn't want to live together at first (going from 0…
I like this image only because my ponytails have gotten much lower as I got older, which means I have become smarter with age. No studying required.
Arg. Part of the problem with this paper is that I've been doing research for it for over a month and a half.
On the verge of panic attack.
It's awful busy in here tonight.
@archaeo_girl: I'm just doing America.
@mahmahmahpokerface: Nope! I am in graduate school which means deadlines are always really, really late.
@archaeo_girl: Oh god.
