@rainy_day: What if we hate all things coconut because it brings back memories of coconut smelling sunscreen lotion and thus traumatic swimming lessions as a child?

Ugh. Any diet is a particular diet - if they mean people on for instance a classic, stereotyped "American diet," that is still a diet and would explain some weight gain. What the heck do they mean by "not on any kind of diet?"

@south2nd: Oooh! I'm writing a paper in that vein right now! Or well right now I guess I'm procrastinating - it's a process.

@misshistory: Tsk tsk misshistory. Everyone knows that a woman getting an education poisons her uterus and that concentrating too much on the mind will ruin a body for a potential suitor.

Aren't all the people who wished Perez a happy birthday regularly ripped apart on his website? Not that I would know, because I don't read it (anymore) but I sense something strange going on...

@lollilove: Yeah she does - but she keeps on doing movies that are weepily sentimental and romantic and I just can't accept it. In fact she has always done movies like that, but somehow in my head I had made her out to be the exact opposite of that. Its my fault, not hers - and probably due to my obsession with her

I found all of these so touching because of their really wonderful portrayl of male friendship!

Why is Amanda Seyfried so bent on destroying the perfect image of her I had in my head?

Love the double standard. Men aren't asked to stop ogling so they will stop distracting the women. I'm sure being objectified did an amazing job to boost grades for women...

@Ellimac: Ah I see - I'm one of them "New York liberal elites" according to Limbaugh, so I've managed to avoid that.

@gingergal7: See, this is when you question what makes someone a "friend," even a facebook one.

@austen_g: Yeah, see the healthcare coverage will help with the debt or at least it would have if there was a public option because less companies would feel pressured to lay people off because of rising health insurance coverage. Regardless it will help because hopefully insurance costs will lower and people will

@austen_g: Ha! And yet she doesn't see anything socialist about a country that gives some socio-economic classes little choice but to enrol in the army?

@individa: Exactly - it was left off of the books in Canada because the law

@austen_g: Would have loved to make a joke about "we'll see after tonight if I can afford that," but I'm a student and thus covered...for now.

@samethingwedoeverynightpinky: Probably even harder to mark down awk, sentence fragment or ww while worrying about something much bigger. I wish you luck!!!

@Luckier (sometimes Luckless, sometimes Luckiest): No problem. And I will put this out there - Canada has coverage for abortions, maternal care AND same-sex marriage. Plus they have this grey area on polygamy because it is a "religious issue," (debatable I know). All I am saying is that all my fellow jezzies can come

Do you ladies think my professors will accept the excuse: "The healthcare debate ate my homework"

@Ukelelele: Ah, the American dream. *swoon* *barf*
