Bubbles: if I remember right, there's some distinct tattoo that she has that the woman in the video doesn't have (or vice versa). What a silly movie.

Actually @avclub-e0f48a1058f0f0204b22d4a2fd6f18ae:disqus , Minnesota is one the nine states where Mr. Bush claims residency.

"Thanks to its incredible popularity among websites who love to post think-pieces (and somewhat among viewers)"

"Sometimes I buy something, and I think it's good, so I say I invented it."

Despite its cartooniness, I'm really happy with this new plot line for Chang. Part of what made him so fun in the first season was the whole idea of a deeply deranged person having this small but substantial bit of authority at this little community college. This seems like a good way to get back to that theme without

Agree that the character development this episode was great, but I think you're letting the awfulness of the Seacrest Hulk thing overshadow some really great bits (e.g. the Dean's freakout at Jeff, Shirley as Fake Oprah, slowly recognizing that actor is French Stewart at exactly the same pace that the group does).

I'm in Austin, and we got one of those last week. Weird, right?

What?!

Atlas Shrugged II: The Legend of Curly's Gold

Toasterlad: yes, that Bill Richardson. (For those unaware, in a 2008 debate on LOGO, a GLBT TV channel, a moderator asked him if thought being gay was a choice. He said yes, then seemed genuinely surprised and startled when the moderators recoiled, like he didn't even know that was a thing). Usually we think of the

And as for an example of a public figure genuinely apologizing for anti-gay statements, I think Bill Richardson's apology for using the word "maricon" a few years back is a pretty good example of an apology that seemed fairly sincere (especially since Richardson had used some genuine political capital in pushing for a

Not really sure what you mean here. My point was just that it's fairly clear Morgan wasn't mumbling boilerplate, but was backsliding on the boilerplate that got put out there after the whole incident.

When somebody has genuinely recognized his mistake and apologized for it, then of course you forgive that person.

Honestly, I feel CK was remarkably shallow in his analysis of the whole thing. Tanehisi Coates had a fantastic takedown of most of CK's arguments that's really quite eloquent and thoughtful. I'd recommend checking it out.

I don't think that's right. CK's points were pretty shallow and not well thought through. Tanehisi Coates had an excellent takedown of Louis CK's arguments at the Atlantic. I can't do it justice by quoting it, so I would recommend checking it out.

Obviously AV Club can't write about it, because the only way people in the United States can see it is on Megavideo or faking an IP address to use the BBC's iPlayer, but seriously: NEW SHERLOCK. Last week's episode was just so god damn amazing.

I don't know; his Letterman appearance a few months ago made it seem like his apology was decidedly insincere and he really just didn't see what the big deal was.

Prembiggen

Thank goodness. (I just recently switched over to rabbit ears from cable, so I'm used to just fast-fowarding through the commercials).

Good episode, but side note here: not a good sign for Community's budget to see Yvette Nicole Brown (in character) in the commercial for "Puss in Boots." I'm starting to worry the best we can hope for is that the show gets to finish out its full run for this season.
