How will this land for people who generally find Fred Armisen highly irritating?

Rubicon is the one that hurts me the most.
Yea, I’m pretty sure they’d have said the same thing if everyone had been white people.

To clarify, I’m not saying it was a mistake, more that I appreciated the emphasis on the locality, because the word is already Hungarian. It’s like when someone says “French Champagne.” It’s basically redundant, but the delivery was just spectacular. I absolutely loved the gravitas Simon Pegg put behind the line.
I’m more a fan of Francis Ford Coppola’s Dune vision, excluding how he shoe-horned his daughter in to every scene.
I’d like to hear from all the other directors who didn’t make a movie out of Dune.
Jodorowsky might want to watch Blade Runner 2049 as Villeneuve sure as shit didn’t try to make a “commercial” film.
Is it a controversial take to say that I don’t give a fuck what Jodorowsky or Lynch think about the new Dune? Obviously neither of them are gonna like it, what insightful additions to the discourse were you expecting from them?
“There [are] no surprises. The form is identical to what is done everywhere. The lighting, the acting, everything is predictable.”

This pandemic is trivial when compared to the 1918 one precisely because it’s no longer 1918. Even with 102 additional years of medical and epidemilogical knowledge, the world has still lost 780K people.

H.P. just liked it better that wayyyyyy!
That’s fucking rich, since “even old New York was once New Amsterdam...”
Oh yeah, that is a good one.
And I do happen to be a Jefferson Airplane fan; though I like Jorma/Jack/Hot Tuna better than Jefferson Starship; the less said about Starship, the better.
