Definitely the third best Moore movie (though LaLD not too far behind) but it is still distant behind FYEO and TSWLM.

I was thinking this was opposite world first, but then realised it was reverse order. Phew.

She does alright in Detectorists as her daughter’s mother as well.

Not that hot, it isn’t even a contest, he’s miles ahead. Gray and Pleasence were limp and comical (like the movies they were in) and Waltz’s performance was all undone by the ridiculous twist where he set everything up. Savalas was a villain to actually be afraid of.

and yet we have no time to die.

Lazenby was a pretty accomplished skier too, shame they didn’t use more live footage.

Agree on OHMSS and FRWL. I have Casino Royale a little further down.

I’ve seen all the pre-Craig movies at least 10 times and the Craig ones 3 - 5 times each and OHMSS is still my favourite. Closely followed by FRWL.

He’s also stated at times that his agent quit on his behalf before he had made a decision and that he sometimes regrets not doing another one or two movies. But I guess the key thing is he doesn’t seem too have lost much sleep over the decision.

Dalton is ‘Flemming Bond’.

Not sure Dalton had as many black belts as Lazenby though.

Honor is a virtue name derived from Latin (Honos / Honoris) so it never had a U in it when it first came into use as a name, even though it is the same meaning as honour.

I also think OHMSS and FRWL are the two best Bond movies. LTK is also a favourite. I like Dalton because he was the most similar to Bond in the books. Playing it to close to the books though didn’t really pay off for him.

He has one with Dino and Hans Moleman called ‘Star Boo-urns’.

I assume ‘Kevin Pollak has a talk show?’is the name of the show.

Jedi was pretty polished and it was a massive success. But I think it is a case of kids becoming adults or adults watching the movie later on. Any male over 13 can’t admit they liked Ewoks.

I’m Spartacus.

How do you even get them to stay on the shelves?

I did this a couple of years ago when I was between jobs. I wanted to find out if the movies I loved were good Bond movies and if those I didn’t like as much were better than I thought. I made a list with 20 criteria and scored each movie against them... theme song, acting, gadgets, cars, bond girls, villains etc.
