On a dollar-per-pound or cubic foot basis, it’s hard to beat a used domestic minivan.

I’m more of a one-stop-shop guy.

And already the, “If it affects performance or engine note? No thank you.” comments are out in force.
ie I’d rather have my child, or my friend’s children grow up in a filthier country where our children suffer more from a variety of diseases and neurological deficits all so that my car can go Vroom Vroom louder and

They got these contracts and raises with the mere threat of unionizing... Imagine the deal they will get when they are unionized.

They should go full union anyway. You never trust a company this morally bankrupt anything. This affects the bottom line or money in their pockets and no executive wants that.

The hypersensitivity of Cyberpunk super fans continues

I think you and I read two totally different articles.

Don’t poor shame people. We all know why people bought this. It was always dramatically cheaper than any other 7 seater. And with the insane markup on anything new these days, a leftover 2019 Journey is probably 30% to 50% cheaper than anything else on the lot.

Pffftttt! Sounds more commonsense than blowing $10K or so over sticker for a Toyota.

We should also acknowledge the much maligned Journey was an absolute home run for Chrysler/FCA.

Making a rational choice to buy a new car, with a warranty and more modern safety and efficiency standards instead of a used car from a shady dealer (or private person) doesn’t necessarily make one a weirdo.

I bought one in 2016 and I am still waiting for it to be this horrible car that people say it will be. It was a V6 Crossroad for 20,400 out the door and also had 0% financing, why wouldn’t I buy it? It currently has 78,000 miles and has never been back to the dealer one time for any repairs other than maintenance.

I don’t get the hate for these. They are BIG and dirt cheap, which is what the average American wants from a car. They have a crappy interior and drive like poop - they don’t care. It’s not a car for the sort of people who care enough about cars to hang out here.

The Jalopnik style guide seems to currently be: find something interesting and then find a way to absolutely SHIT on it.

Owning people who bought:

A Dodge Journey, likely priced in the basement, and still coming with a full factory warranty is not as bad of a choice as people pretend. It won’t be great, but it’ll get you to work and school if you need a car.

A tale as old as time:

I will keep beating the drum that a small cheap hybrid van would be great to have on the market (which is perfect, because Ford’s small cheap van is coming due for replacement). That said, there’s room in the Maverick for electrification, most likely (either PHEV borrowing Escape stuff, or full EV, like a

And that was a shock mainly from “Wait, Traveller’s Tales made a game that’s more than a beautiful piece of crap?”, which their pre-Lego history is a who’s who of graphical achievements coupled with mediocre-to-lousy gameplay.

you know what sucks, if you boycott a cruchy game, youre really mostly punishing the devs who rely on studio bonuses to make the crunch worthwhile. Company will be fine with base performance, but “sticking it to the man” will pretty much just ensure the devs crunched for nothing.

Might be worth taking a more
