John McCain’s legacy represents an unparalleled example of human decency and American service. As an intern, I learned a lot about the power of humanity in government through his deep friendship with Sen. Kennedy. He meant so much, to so many. My prayers are with his family.

In having at least two, and probably all living, presidents besides the sitting one, at his funeral, McCain by acting decently, remains “the maverick.”

I admired and respected Senator John McCain; though I seldom agreed with his position on most issues.

Classic. Children recanting abuse is absolutely classic people.

I remember your relating this incident, and how fiercely admirable and brave ya’ll’s response was; during and following said incident.

My only thought on that man still having all his teeth he came with; is that the parents didn’t want to further traumatize their kids, or have Dad go to jail.
