This sounds strangely familiar... Has Kotaku covered this game when it was released in Japan, perhaps?

The gameplay looks AMAZINGLY fluid. Seems like a lot of fun :D

I think that dude barfing at the end of the trailer got the right impression from it.

Just for posterity, I believe this is the article Kotaku published back in the days of level 90 cap:

Indeed, most serious studies on the matter end up declaring that YES, the risks of birth defect or genetic diseases are higher than in children from non-cousin parents, but no more than an extra 1 or 2%, on top of the 1 or 2% risk everyone already shares. While you could argue that this is alarmingly DOUBLE THE RISKS,

I don't know what to think of the fact that you just announced to Kotaku's readership that you have a three-strikes policy regarding reviews that go against your personal opinion... That's a whole new level of I'm not even sure what.

The day something like THAT happens to me will also be the day my Internet gets a 4 hour outage for no reason, right before I can grab any loot. Because that's when these things always happen.

I have loads of game soundtracks on my iPod, as well as all sorts of band or orchestral adaptations of game soundtracks. That's mainly what plays in my car.

I think we can officially close the comments on this post, this one sums it up so perfectly nothing else needs to be said.

I'm really on the fence about what I've seen from the videos in this post... it looks like the engine's doing a superb job with lighting, ambiance and so on, but the character models seriously lack polish. They all have a nasty case of helmet-hair and the lip motion is jarring. Examining objects just pops them up

It also sounds cool as hell, with a soundtrack that features artists like legendary Capcom composer Manami Matsumae (Mega Man), The Protomen, Alex Mauer and Shovel Knight's Virt.

I think this calls for a double-check of the picture title.

While I agree that the characters and general setting of Danganronpa are a real trope overload (and it actually DID put me off initially), it all grows on you and the overarching story is definitely interesting.

I would click that star again if clicking a second time didn't mean "unlike"

I think games development has gotten much more complex over the years to the point where the design and direction aspects of development are now usually a team effort more than a single person's vision, most of the time, at least.

Pretty neat, but they'll need to tweak their parameters a little. That milk splash behaves more like mercury than like milk. It just pearls up and slides to infinity and beyond. Real milk would wet the counter and not spread and bead as much as a result. I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of setting a few variables

I think it's safe to consider the honest version of all these player opinions can be obtained by appending "I'd hit that."

"PITTSBURGH" ... ... LOL

no, most everyone does... that's kind of the joke here :P

except that you can hardly argue that FFVII's untextured blocky puppets are "pixel perfection". There's a loooooot of room for improvement.
