I get best of both worlds :). I pulled an ISO from my original Playstation version, patched it with the FFT:Complete fan-made patch (which essentially applies the War of the Lions translation over the original game), made a PSP eboot out of it and I'm playing THAT on my CFW PSP.

1) Install Chucky Bill's Loot-O-Matic Forge Mod

I haven't and I won't bother. There are already plenty of games with satisfying structural mechanics where I don't have to dig under rape and pedophilia themes to find them. I think that says a lot.

Allow me to use this Valkyria Chronicles related post to say the things that really matter:

Totally agree, there'd be a number of ways to get XMB running as a touch-friendly interface, so why go against it with a new bubbly UI? If I want bubbles, I drink Champagne.

Custom sneakers? No. These should be mass-produced.

I'd say that guy's belly will hit the fan first. The shit, of course, will be thrown asides as the poor employee realizes his days have come to an end.

Nicely exposed. That video is impressive, but it's apparent that the sprites and backgrounds have had their palettes reduced. Sonic's sprite has at most 6-7 colors: I can note 2 shades of blue, 2 shades of beige, black, white, and transparency (if handled through a specific palette index, if it's defined by a separate

Most PSP models available today can't (conveniently and permanently) be hacked with as much ease as the DS can load a flashcart, though... My PSP-1000 has a custom firmware on it, I do use it for emulators and homebrew (Tyrian and Wagic: The Homebrew, mostly), but I buy my games, I've got a nice collection :)

No, what I'm saying is that Nintendo's price cut won't have as big an impact on the 3DS's sales as piracy groups managing to make a working 3DS flash card would. The price point for the 3DS was adequate, in my opinion, but you'd be surprised at how people can be put off at the idea of having to pay for each and every

I predict that sales will rise dramatically when someone out there releases a flash card capable of playing 3DS roms. As sad as it seems, the Nintendo DS sold craploads because people could easily pirate their games. Of all the people I know who own a DS/DSL/DSi, none of them ever bought a real game, and the DS is

the thing with the 8-bit era is that 8-bit stands for the maximum size of data units the game console processor could handle, and not the graphics palette size... The Nintendo Entertainment system could handle FAR less than 256 colors, and it's palette was hardcoded, so you had to work with what you had... here's an

Not that I know of, but yeah, they're doing a 5.5 this time. Some apps are not updated and remain versioned at 5.0 or 5.1 (in "CS" numbering), others have been upgraded to CS5.5 version. Some of the CS5.5 apps have received semi-big updates but are overall still CS5ish, others are treated almost as a new full version

I personally can't stand the content-aware stuff. I've always hated how some software can go "here, I know better than you what you want to do, let me do it."

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World? I've been laughing so hard since I started that one, the skits are great, love the new characters, even though Emil is a bit wimpy at first.

It's fine for its purpose :)

I'm glad to find some fuchsia again! The last redesign made Kotaku pretty bland when it used to be all about lime green, fuchsia and beige all over. Speaking of lime green, why'd the logo turn yellow?

Of course the situation itself is unrealistic, the picture is fun because you want to imagine this *could* be real, but some details (outside from the fact that marine turtles can't fly) will automatically make you reject the possibility of reality. It's kind of like meeting someone in daylight with a dull yellowish

Am I the only one worried about the fact that they're showing a forest level, a cave level and a dragon boss? That's like the first boss and first two areas in the original Phantasy Star Online. Not that I dislike PSO, I still play it sometimes on a private server, I just think I've seen enough of those areas after

that was a wheel disappointment
