Agreed. Even if the Titans are always naked, you can't fetishize them because they just look...wrong. They play with the fear of the uncanny very well and you don't see an anime that touches upon the themes of failure and despair too often.

I call this anime a crash course in geopolitics and economics. The anime asks some very familiar questions. Why are there wars? Who desires wars if it brings so much suffering? How do we stop wars?
