There are four POC main characters…

It seems like half the guest list is just “flavor of the month” anyway. The Gala lost any class it might have once had when the Kardashians were invited.

Is she pretending she’s pregnant in that photo?

Britney Spears got locked in one of her very nice bathrooms.

this movie also completely removes her mother

Unless I misunderstood the article, the film doesn’t mention her name and the filmmakers just said the story is directly inspired by Amanda Knox. There’s nothing illegal about that, or uncommon. I mean, Law and Order built a franchise on it. It would be different if they had made a movie that was about Amanda Knox,

I’m sorry but anyone can tell a story that’s inspired by a true story. No one owns it. She doesn’t have to like it but the filmmakers didn’t have to consult with her either. Plus, she already wrote her book and made her money so anyone who wants to know what the real Amanda thinks, can just buy her book.

Not making excuses for terrible parenting here, just bringing some nuance, because it’s hard to restrict teenagers 100% (esp in her case). Short of constantly grounding her, you can’t police every move. TBH my cuz’s parents are neglectful on multiple points. As far as I know she roamed her suburb freely and she was

And NO ONE was protecting her.

Lindsay Lohan

Her parents are well known for being aggressively desperate stage parents who relocated the entire family to LA just to jumpstart her career. Her dad tried to start a bidding war for agents, so he was clearly motivated by money rather than choosing the best people to work with his daughter. They served her up to

I’m inclined to think he’s lying or exaggerating, but I’m also aware that this is mainly wishful thinking on my part.

I don’t think people are saying that to/about her at all. More like, “You’re rich, you have all the benefits of being rich handed to you, you have enormous privilege. Use all those things to pay for some therapy!”

Or, you now, unblock Stodden. That's a good first step.

Love to see a whiny post about being held accountable (not actually cancelled—clearly she’s still getting plenty of work) accompanied by a photo of a nicer home than most of us will ever set foot in.

I hate the phrase “money doesn’t buy happiness”. Sure, having money doesn’t make you happy, but it does give you peace of mind knowing you’ll be able to pay your bills, rent, buy food and clothes, or anything else you need. To me, that’s happiness.

It must be sooo tough being popular, rich, and a certified b*tch.

This! Someone who *needs* to be on social media is precisely the person who shouldn’t be on social media. Get off the phone and go socialize in person! It will literally make you feel so much better than anything you post on the internet!

Seriously, what is wrong with this woman?  Why does she need attention from strangers this badly?  Doesn’t she have friends and family she can talk to or a therapist?

I just needed an honest moment with you because I’m just...tired of being sick with myself all day,”
