See, that's my problem with the above picture. I am utterly convinced that fast food and avocado are two things best kept apart. Avocados are a thing of beauty, but there's no way that mass-produced 'food' makers can give them the justice they deserve.

One of my favorite things to do with my mom is complete the sunday NYT puzzle together. We've got awesome complementary skills - I'm up on pop culture and great at surmising words given very few letters, and she knows all the classic puzzle tropes and gets the historical references. A match made in heaven!

my older siblings taught me how to play madlibs before i entered kindergarten, and i thought they were the best things ever. i took them to kindergarten and tried to teach my friends to play...
they just weren't ready. but they learned! :)
