You’re not wrong, but I totally get where she’s coming from. The Oscars are a self-love fest that is obnoxious and arrogant. If you asked me over and over again about it, I’d say the same thing: it’s a bunch of bullshit.

Yes, this. I think we make too much of the protection a vaccination gives the receiver and too little of the benefit to the community -- but then again this is just like the mask thing, so I’m not surprised.

I believe that its’s people in their 20's and 30's that were passing around Covid-19 with the most and were asymptomatic. If you don’t want to get Covid-19 and pass it to others please get the vaccine.

Honestly, I’m fine with this.  New generations embrace new films, and I’ll be damned if I turn into one of those old farts who complains about how movies are crap now, kids these days don’t know what real cinema is.  Sure, there are a lot of things about many movies now that I don’t care for, but that’s just my own…

I actually did watch the Oscars last night, for the first time in many years — partly because I had nothing better to do (for obvious reasons) and partly out of curiosity at how they were actually going to pull the damn thing off.
