Lived in Cleveland my whole life, and I’ve seen a lot of people come in and out through school. It always comes down to one thing: Cleveland isn’t like Chicago or another big city where you can walk down the street and happen upon cool things; it’s just not big enough. But it does have amazing culture and attractions,

So, a guy on a show designed to show off your intelligence is being chastised for being intelligent? Right.

Forgive my noobness, but aren't we still waiting on a jailbreak for the iPhone 5?

It would be nice if there was a browser extension to take care of that.

Another reason not to use a hair-dryer: static buildup.

You're absolutely right; I was in the left-most lane of a four lane highway today and it told me to exit to the right (the first announcement) when I was seven hundred feet from the ramp in heavy traffic. I didn't even attempt to make it over.

If you're having trouble downloading, try (on your iPhone) going to any other Google app, then scrolling to the "more from this developer" or whatever tab and finding it there.

Ahhh that DOES feel better!! :P

That's definitely true. For some reason, those few flights I'm referencing were a bit behind schedule. On a totally unrelated note, I just have to say how pleasant it was to have a legitimate and respectful discourse with someone on Giz. Thank you.

That's a good point about printed books; I wouldn't be opposed to those being put away too. As far as the safety briefing, the last few flights I've been on have done it well after we pushed off, pretty much to the moment we lined up on the runway.

Exactly, it's been scientifically disproven numerous times.

Besides the projectile argument, let's not forget that while taxiing, you're typically listening to safety demonstrations and the like. You can be as blasé as you'd like, but if something happens during takeoff or landing (the most likely times) and I need to evacuate the plane quickly, I'm going to be glad that:

Yea, but you can't really explain much of anything to a death person.

This is neat, but it's clearly based on a perfectly right-circular conical tree with a certain radius to height ratio. Most trees (at least the non-artificial) variety rarely conform to that ideal.

It's been done. Eye-fi.

Not to nitpick, but 55 players is not a "whole" orchestra. It's about half-size.

I've been using this for a almost a year, works great. http://www.amazon.com/Hipe-Waterproof-Bluetooth-Handsfree-speakerphone/dp/B005Z3GINK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1353199308&sr=8-1&keywords=hip+400

Sure, let me see how long I can keep being a classical composer when I'm working with your ear buds. Probably no longer than it took me to write this reply.

A further tip: To avoid really polluting your contacts list, add all the numbers to the same contact.

Really, no offense intended, but anything that garners even a comparison to Garageband isn't going to be for real musicians.
