S is for Slow.
Prelude owners occasionally joke that S stands for Slow. As the owner of a 1991 Si that isn’t quite this clean, but still better than 90% of 3rd gens left, this is relevant to my interests in case I decide to sell it.
There’s a last-gen Charger local to me in orange that has the license plate “GO MANGO”. Great color.
I actually like that red one at the bottom. Otherwise, yeah, redundant. But I do like the red one at the bottom.
I am by no means an SUV guy, but I’d totally rock a Land Cruiser.
In the 1990s, on North Carolina Highway 168, the main road from Hampton Roads to the Outer Banks, some of the side streets near the Virginia border had signs at their traffic lights saying that wait times would be 5 minutes in the summer.
The guy who claimed he saw a Skyline one night before they were importable. I was with him that night and there was no Skyline. He was known for just making stuff up like that. I eventually stopped hanging out with him. I recently found out he lost his license because he got caught street racing.
Usually the Skyline GT-R.
I thought I saw one yesterday. Turns out it was just a regular 1-series with an M badge on the front for some reason.
Early 30s here. I’d date her, although I’d probably have nightmares about her torching one of my cars or something.
For me it’s that I actually enjoy driving it regardless of situation. My engine-swapped Prelude is an absolute blast. It’s in that nice area where it’s neither terribly slow nor too fast to enjoy on public roads. It handles competently despite being FWD, and as a bonus, the engine I put into it has a better powerband…
I think at this point Honda could announce a free blow job with the purchase of a new NSX and most people would just complain that the person giving it didn’t swallow.
Ann Perkins!

Virginia is more or less the same, except it’s 25 years and the emissions zone is only the DC suburbs (at least for now).
I can choose “neither”, right?
Where I live (Richmond, VA) there are no emissions inspections, at least not yet. Right now the only parts of Virginia with emissions inspections are the DC suburbs, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the rest of the state gets them within the foreseeable future. Even so, vehicles with antique plates are exempt from both…
The 25 year exemption for cars originally sold in other markets was what I’m referring to. In Canada you only have to wait 15 years to be able to import said vehicles.
