My Prelude has an aftermarket header and exhaust system and it sounds like that in the mid and high RPMs. I love that sound.

I do this with all three of my cars, even my beater (which is the most modified of the three, although sometimes I feel bad for using it as a beater)

I don’t go to car meets or shows anymore because of stanced cars. I don’t want to come across, for example, a stanced NSX and end up getting arrested for vandalism and/or assault because I know I’d go into a rage when I saw it.

The size of the FiST isn’t an issue for me. I’m 5’7 and 180, and don’t have or want kids. I do have a big dog, but even in the FiST I’m sure he’d be less cramped than he is in the back of my 4G Prelude.

Of all those, the GT4 and the Fords are the only ones that interest me. The GT4 is and probably will always be well out of my price range, and right now the GT350 and RS are too. I’ve driven a FoST and enjoyed it, but I want to try a FiST before I decide which one I like more.

I’m the same way. I hope when I’m that age (currently 30ish so I have plenty of time) manuals are still around, or that I preserve a car with one in good enough condition to use frequently.

One of my late grandfather’s friends had a Focus SVT when they were new. He was well over 70 at the time. I’ve also seen people that age driving S2000s, Preludes (which were actually pretty expensive at the end...a loaded one would be close to $50k in today’s money), MKIV Supras, and a Z or two.

Good point. I know of three import tuning shops here in the Richmond area, and the only one in Richmond proper is in a pretty sketchy area. The other two are in suburbs, 20 miles in either direction, right off interstates.
