The real wtf comes when you find companies, usually American ones, that carry DD *and* E. It's like they aren't even thinking it through. Sigh.

London has two of my favorites! Rigby & Peller and Bravissimo. In fact, you lucky lady, it ALSO has Pepperberry! I want to say it's around Covent Garden. It's the clothing extension of Bravissima... that's right, button-ups and dresses made for ladies up to a K cup! I'm jealous. Rigby and Peller is more of the tiny…
If you can get out to Independence, I feel good about Intimate Designs (http://www.yelp.com/biz/intimate-d…)... They have some of the best brands listed on their site, and you can call them to double-check that your size (or approx if you're not sure) is in stock but they appear to carry stuff at least up through G or…
I think I had one of those kits, and it reminded me unnervingly of curry.
I also had the misfortune of having "Mexican" food in a bomb shelter in Budapest, in which "chicken quesadilla" turned out to be a chicken paprikash wrap with a side of cabbage slaw.
Basically, do not have "Mexican" food outside of the Americas,…
I mean, that's not a TOTALLY inaccurate way to describe Paris...
I will never forget the time I made real burritos for my friend in Aberdeen who "loves Mexican" but had only ever had it there. I actually shipped refried beans, tortillas, and spices from the US, then got ingredients for fresh pico and guac along with the other usual suspects at the store there.
They were heaven...…
Oh Kara, you aren't going anywhere, right? With the exodus of some of my favorite Jez writers, please tell me we at least get to keep you!
Not surprising, but the prices at places like this typically range from $50 to $200 per bra, so you'll almost certainly find options at a few different price points. If you fork out $100+ for a bra, though, be aware that it is probably a wonderful piece of engineering that you will rely on for a long time, and follow…
This is especially upsetting to me because this guy is the LAST EXTANT SPECIES OF HIS GENUS. It's bad enough that we kill tons of common animals, but the last of his genus? Maybe we can retire that one before we chop off that branch of the phylogenetic tree?
This is a compelling, introspective account of the life of Isabella TaniKumi... [snip]
Looks like I.C. London has some of my favorite brands (Le Mystere! Panache! Fantasie! Empreinte for the baller exquisite goddess in you!) and you can get 28A-46M. Looks like gold. http://www.yelp.com/biz/i-c-london…
AHHHH THEY'RE SO CUTE!!!!11
Your nightmares/fears need work if this is the worst of them. Itty bitty versions of big things are like the definition of adorable.
While that's usually true, do be aware, though, that that is not true in all brands and countries. Some lines (usually American brands from my experience) carry both a DD and an E, and so an E in one line can be an F in another. ALWAYS TRY IT ON is my mantra. Allllllways try it on.
Trousseau in Vienna has 30AA-56N (http://www.yelp.com/biz/trousseau-…) and Coup de Foudre near Metro Center has 32A-40G (http://www.yelp.com/biz/coup-de-fo…). That should get you started! :-)
I took my busty friend to Coeur when she was pregnant and the boob fairy (unnecessarily) came to call... I think her cup size went from E to G, so she needed a couple good bras AND nursing bras. She left in a blissful daze of relief and good fortune. God bless specialty bra shops... I thought they were impossibly rare…
Every major city I've spent any time in has a specialty bra store like that. Coeur is the go-to in downtown Philly (or Intimacy in King of Prussia Mall), but I've been able to track them down all over from Los Angeles to London. They typically carry up to G or H cups (some higher) in serious brands like Empreinte,…
I dunno, I first heard that in reference to Black Swan and it was pretty damn accurate, and I loved it pretty hard... What ruined this phrase for you?
Genuine question: Like many white people, I spent the first 25 years of my life unaware that natural Black hair is a drama-riddled thing, and then ever since then I've been startled and confused again every time I'm reminded of that. It feels like watching a friend fight with her family... I might have thoughts on…
This was SO informative. Thank you!
Next question: When you say comb it, I feel like I might still be missing something. Is there a special kind of comb or combing technique applied here? Or are you literally just saying, "We think they should run a basic CVS-issue comb through the hair every morning"? If so, is this…
So it's more accurate to say, "Some Jews are POC," right? Or to say, "Middle Easterners are POC, and many Jews are of that descent"? To claim that a very, very white girl in New Jersey has a POC experience in this country because she's Jewish is ludicrous, and it's what your careless lumping of all Jews into POC…
