I think there’s some real confusion going on in this article and, then not shockingly, in the comments below. In Tibetan Buddhism, any sex that’s not straight up generic sex meant for creating a new life is considered misconduct. That’s for everyone, and it’s rooted in many things, not the least of which is the idea

All major religions are fucked up patriarchies! Just a reminder.

What do women want?

Do... Do you watch the news?

Sorry, but I won't stop having sex with your sister.

Can’t wait to see the SCP writeup for this.

Since this ended in a thai, it went to a shootout.

"Nuclear Pokemon" kind of sound like "Shadow Pokemon" from XD Gale of Darkness.

Party dates and who is employed where are easy things for an investigative journalist to verify. Check it out. If it doesn't match, return to your source and get clarification. If the source's version of events doesn't match verifiable fact, scrap the story.

"Fuckin A Brother" is why people are so pissed off.

Also, can we talk about the racism behind 'banning' turnt? White people start using the word, overuse it, and now it's old news and no one should say it. Cool.

Why is Time spearheading the Orwellian concept of banning words in the first place?

Wow. What a one-sided article. The vote spam is actually about ethics in games journalism.

One thing people AREN'T doing, or at least not enough, is asserting that the men in those situations are equally willing participants. Even if the stories are true: Is it unethical to sleep with a game journalist to get a better review? Sure. But so is sleeping with a developer and agreeing to publish a good review

I've been saying this for a while now.

I grew up in a time when being a "gamer" was cause for ridicule. Shit, admitting to owning a Nintendo in the mid-80's was a good way to get your ass kicked at my school (not at all schools, I understand).

Now that gaming's finally mainstreamed, and the hobby has -finally- gained

Anyone with common sense who is familiar with #gamergate will believe my claim.

Gamergate, first coined by actor Adam Baldwin, is an amorphous campaign that is ostensibly about ethics in video game journalism and defending the "gamer" identity but has come under fire for its links to a wave of harassment, particularly of women, in gaming.

Apparently, having a vagina and a voice is a good first step.

Excellent article.
