Sorry, but what you’re saying is the propaganda. Hafez Hassad had to resort to brutal means back in 1979 to put down the Muslim Brotherhood that was trying to foment sectarianism. Not like he was the only one, as Egypt and a lot of other Middle Eastern countries went to violent lengths to excise the scourge of the MB

I see what you did there.

Really cool pics!! So nice! It kinda makes for some really cool post-apocalyptic scenarios. The only thing missing is zombies!

Yeah seriously. But it’s all part of the dreadful sectarian Pandora’s Box we’ve helped open in the Middle East, man. Mosul’s a Sunni enclave. ISIS is led mainly by Sunnis. The Iraqi army knew it didn’t stand a chance in Mosul, surrounded by a civilian population that’s sympathetic to ISIS.

Look, I agree, the U.S. is just in this, mainly to see Russia take it on the chin. Obama agreed to play the game, but he seems to have clear boundaries in his head as to how far he’s willing to take this.

You really are a stupid kalb, you know that, right? Instead of spreading lies on here, like the sharmoota that you are, you should be out fighting ISIS. Here you are, hiding on the internet, like some fucking kisich. Pathetic.

Exactly. That’s why it’s such an epic foreign policy and defense disaster on so many damned levels. The whole thing went to shit when ISIS showed up. The U.S. lost control of the narrative when that happened. There now is a much, much bigger danger than Assad, with greater risks of bringing down strategic blowback on

It’s weird, but think about it in tactical terms. You’re battalion commander, now faced with a large area, with open areas, small hills and canyons, some small towns, lots of structures or collections of buildings. Your ground offensive is rolling, but you’re not sure where ALL the enemy positions are. It’s always

Yes, I get it. You’re a dumb shopkeeper in Lebanon, who secretly wants to run off to ISIS and rape women, because you’ve never been laid. Sigh.

Do you even understand what “data” means? It means ‘sources of fact.’ Hard information. Not your ridiculous opinion.

Is that why the Pentagon’s had to doctor reports on how “well” that air campaign over Syria was going?

I believe the appropriate term is ‘BLOWBACK.’

Sheesh ... some moron here listens to too much Fox News, and this is what happens.

Oh geez, were you the result of your mom screwing her brother or something? I’ve heard that really bad mental handicaps result from that sort of redneck inbreeding.

What’s your objective basis for saying that? Do you have any real data to support your so-called knowledge of the ‘rebel groups’ in Syria?

The truth and irony in Syria is, it’s been the Assad regime that’s kept those Shias, Sunnis, Christians, Kurds, Druze, Yazidis, and a ton of other small sects and groups, from killing one another.

Nearly all those civilians you mention have now fled for Europe, or are on the way. Nearly three years of ISIS atrocities, Al-Qaeda wars, and 5,000+ “rebel groups” fighting each other and everyone else, would make anyone flee.

Obama has ditched these ‘rebels’ because investigations are now starting —- led by the U.S. Treasury Department —- as to how ISIS got all those Toyota Hi-Lux pickup trucks that have been showing up in their propaganda videos. Obama knows the trail will lead to the CIA, and the CIA will then point to the White House.

We should focus on cleaning up and exterminating ISIS from Iraq.

“Syrian rebels” are really either ISIS or Al-Qaeda (Al-Nusra) in Syria.
