Some of the Russian cruise missiles seem to have an expendable booster ( that can-shaped thing at the end). It’s an interesting design. Maybe the booster is just for initial launch, and then it falls off, and the cruise missile then goes smokeless and less detectable for the rest of its journey?

I think they were just commissioned and went on station in the Caspian Sea just last year. I remember reading about it.

Awww, is reality not conforming to your illusions, buddy? The Pentagon doctored reports about Syria is FACT.

“Moskva off Syrian coast was decoy. I’m da real threat!!

Yeah, right? We’ve spent hundreds of fucking BILLIONS$$ training the Iraqi Army —- and they cut, run and abandon Mosul to ISIS.

The Russians in ONE week have accomplished far more than the so-called allies have in one YEAR of bombing.

Yeah, politics aside, those Russian cruise missiles, too.

No, please try not to make yourself look THAT stupid.

Defense Sec. Ashton Carter testified to the Senate recently that the Pentagon could only find and train less than a hundred moderate Syrian rebels.

Two words.

Yeah, and look what’s happening to freakin Libya, 4 years after Khadaffi was killed. It’s anarchy, man. ISIS is getting close to taking over THAT country. If things don’t work out in Syria and Iraq for ISIS, Libya is where they’re gonna run to and regroup in. With all that Libyan oil, ISIS will be back in business in

Tea party card-carrying Neocon types.

Yeah, and THAT was so effective, the Pentagon’s been caught doctoring reports:

Why do you keep calling them “Anti-Assad forces?” Call them ISIS. Call them Al-Nusra. Call them deranged jihadists.

They probably see themselves as Russians first, and Muslims, second. The Chechens are probably tired of using their own land as a battleground over and over again. AND, the Chechens respect strength. Kadyrov may be a ruthless, megalomaniac warlord, but he’s probably the exact sort of leader the Chechens need. And

SU-30SM’s sneaking in beneath the radar shadows of Antonov AN-12 planes. Russian missile cruisers doing feints and distractions. Warplanes skirting the Turkish border. I like this Russian maskirova. They know ISIS and Al-Qaeda in Syria are getting intel feeds from the west, so this is how they’re keeping them

Yeah, but not enough to constitute any real threat. Besides, those were the chemical warheads WE gave Saddam during the Iran-Iraq War.

Propaganda, sorry. The Chinese aren’t going to station their only carrier, the Liaoning, 5000 miles away from China. China itself is facing ratcheted up tensions because of its hyper-aggressive moves in the disputed South China Sea atolls and islets. Not to mention the movement of the Liaoning would’ve been all over

Some people here are still stuck in the Cold War.

THAT is because Saudi Arabia and Qatar in particular have been underwriting Al-Nusra in Syria. Especially Saudi Arabia. Remember where nearly all the 9/11 terrorists came from?
