Here is one my my guineas! I have been sharing so many pictures of them on Jezebel that I feel a little bad.

When I was in high school I had a crush on a Unitarian so I went to his church for like two months, but I spent most of my time with the teens/youth/whatever. We mostly spent the time learning about other religions.

So, as many of you know, I acquired two lovely guinea pigs last week.

I am the exact sort of person Michael Pollan would appeal to if he didn't feel the need to say sexist bullshit for no reason...

And we are supposed to believe that the waistlines of menfolk have increased for totally unrelated reasons...?

I made my boyfriend a gift basket of a ton of geeky trinkets this year. He had a lot of fun unwrapping them all. Thinkgeek was a treasure trove, as was Amazon.

A lot of things are published in peer reviewed journals and still suck. If you are a good psychologist, you can pull them to bits anyways. (This article was not the best example of that because it didn't focus on methodological problems, but the study is deeply methodologically flawed.)

You should probably hear from them about what it appropriate to wear. They always sent me an email that said "wear this". They might put you in something else, though, if they don't like what you chose. (And I have never been paid for bringing my own clothes.)

One of my childhood friends died in Afghanistan on the 23rd.
