I find that line of reasoning pretty unpersuasive.

I saw an interview with Michael Cristofer, the actor who plays Price, over the weekend. He’s an interesting guy; he graduated from the Actor’s Studio and wrote a play called The Shadow Box that won the Pulitzer Prize. He’s done a ton of theater work, movies and TV and even directed a few things (though two of them

It is hard to believe she and other Deus members would lose everything, but they have houses and other items paid for they could sell.

I can suspend my disbelief here. Due to what you mentioned, there really isn’t a way to steal a billionaire’s money in one fell swoop. If there was, people would try it all the time.

It’s remarkable how often this show wrings enormous tension out of close-ups on faces bathed in the glow of a screen, their fingers frantically tapping as gibberish code I will never understand scrolls urgently across the black. Obviously the score is excellent, but it’s still incredible to me that after four seasons

yeah, the score playing through the tracking shot of the Deus group was truly spectacular

Caught the Shift+Control on NBC poster and figured Darlene was about to do something fsociety-related. That was a nice touch.

So on rewatch, the intro bugged me.  Lori is dialing a phone, with the touchtones lighting up the intro logo.  But she’s calling Dr. Manhattan via satellite link.  So why is there a phone number?  The only person on Mars, at least that we know, is Manhattan, and the service appears geared towards communicating to him,

Three episodes in and I’m completely mystified. Is there any point in watching it if you don’t know much about the source material?

Not calling out potential errors to be a troll, but I am only about halfway through the graphic novel and watching this series, so I feel like I am doubly sifting through this complex universe! Is “Keene” sometimes spelled “Keane” on purpose? It seems like I have seen it used interchangeably and I am wondering if

Great review Joelle.

Maybe this Watchmen series should be reviewed like another HBO Series, Game of Thrones.

As someone on another site mentioned I swear the just told Jeremy Irons the name of the character he was playing then followed him around and filmed him for a day. That casting is so good.

I think that was “Mongoloid” Laurie put on, not “Space Junk.

**Casual reference to Fox Mulder via Sunflower Seeds**

How that impacts the nature of that scene is curious, but not random.

Great show and I love your analysis. Just one thing, she’s listening to Mongoloid by Devo, not Space Junk.

Maybe all of the Adrian Veidt scenes are in the past, and on Mars. So when we saw footage of Dr Manhattan destroying a castle the looked like Veidt’s it was his prison being dismantled.
