In all seriousness, I'd be okay with this is they were adding a similar number of movies as well (they're probably not, considering rising rights costs, and they seem to have realized that TV shows are giving them more bang for their buck, but bear with me).

And just after that they finally got a widescreen transfer of Miller's Crossing too!

Maybe I worded that poorly. Maybe replace protest with boycott? I don't recall seeing anyone who was disgusted by his comments who actually watched the show willingly, though I guess maybe they exist.

That was more protesting Robertson and his comments, not the show itself though. I don't imagine too many people associated with GLAAD watch Duck Dynasty. I think that's the distinction @TheBrett:disqus was making.

I've always been puzzled at her supposed attractiveness.

Grades here are generally the show against itself and what it's capable of, not against TV in general.

Does Carrie know this? Serious question.

I wonder if Brody loves Carrie more than he loves Chris.

That sounds like something a bot would say.

Episode Grade: B+
Season Grade: B-

Huh. I had the opposite reaction. I think I would have liked it more if I hadn't read the book, which I love, and couldn't help but compare it two. It just hit the main points so hard.

The person putting out a hit can be charged with murder.

Maybe she got some sort of extra-sensory perception (mind reading? seeing through walls?) and is mistaking it for dead people talking to her. Not that I have any idea how those things would be possible in the show's weird mix of sci-fi ideas. Hopefully they come back to this, because as a standalone it was weird.

The other problem is that her being right all the time is practically closer to a superpower than being based on skills or even intuition at this point. Even granting that she knew what side Brody was on, there was no way she could have known he would be able to carry out the assassination.

B+

HBO doesn't depend on live viewership, so they don't care that much about live viewership. They want you to subscribe, and the DVDs are mostly for people who don't subscribe. Or diehards and collectors I guess.

The first 3 seasons are $19.96, $16.98, and $25.99 right now. I know those prices probably aren't typical, but just sayin'.

I've read it's over the rights to the characters/universe.

No, The Bangbus.
