Does it suffer from throttle lag? Particularly is it a problem from a stop? The TT S I drove and the Golf GTI both need to wind up before they start moving after pressing the accelerator. This has kept me from buying anything I can afford with the DSG.

It does happen, but that's what the DOI and lawyers are for...

It's doubtful their insurance wouldn't have covered them, but it still opens them up to additional risk. I'm not sure firing was necessary, but this may have been the last straw for these guys or something.

I played games with my parents growing up. Now I have a 2 and a 4 year old. The difference is that back then the worst game I played was probably Double Dragon (Doom and Mortal Kombat came later). Now it’s GTA or Call of Duty. We’re the first generation of parents in a world with M rated games.

I always wonder how much car data plans cost. I imagine they are not unlimited at all. Nothing like paying $200/month so your kids can stream Sponge Bob...

I suspect they just listened to the stories their claims people tell and made commercials to target a demographic of people who don’t understand how insurance, finance, etc. work. Honestly I think it’s brilliant.

These people are the reason that CVTs constantly have fake shift points!!! I hate that soooooo much.

Sometimes that happens. We had a weird rattle under some circumstances, mostly low speed. They couldn’t find it until I demonstrated in the parking lot. They quickly were able to diagnose it as the power steering pump and gave us a loaner while they fixed it since they didn’t get it right the first time. I was ok with

Matt, this is probably the first long article I have read all the through on any Gawker site. Very well written and interesting. It was good at making points and supporting them rather than rambling and expecting us to reach the end to find out what the point might have been. Keep up the great writing!

I came here to say the same. This doesn’t excuse shady dealership behavior, but it’s the best credit protection money can buy. For example, in Colorado, it costs nothing to freeze your reports and $10 each to unfreeze or temporarily unfreeze. If you rarely need credit checks, the occasional $30 is much less expensive

I have been using this keyboard for several months now and am planning to get a second one. It is my first mechanical keyboard. I got it because I like the tactile feel of it and the short keystroke press to register. I tried it and the keyboards from Razer and Corsair a lot before buying. I love it. The texture I.

He's not trying either. I bet that 360 doesn't even have an HDMI port.

I wish I could select none of the above. Also, I have the Samsung monitor and it’s terrible. It has a non-adjustable stand that is incredibly wobbly and no VESA mount for a monitor arm. If I could mount a monitor arm, I would feel different.

This works great until you have to travel for business. There are not many airports you can rent an exotic at.

This is pretty much Dodge’s identity. It’s good yet terrifying they remembered it and passed it to the other Chrysler brands.

I don’t know how much has to do with Clarkson and crew, but it weighs more than the new Miata even with all that carbon fiber. I know it has a lot more power, but I still feel like the weight is such a fail on Alfa’s part. If Fiat is careful, they could make a new Miata based Spider Abarth that drives better, weighs

Texas!

With regards to the DRM thing, it would probably work well for all parties involved if your copy had DRM until your refund period was up, then the DRM was removed.

He could no longer hide he’s been secretly working Lincoln all along.

How tall is it with the top down?
