Especially considering you can kill him when he’s introduced towards the beginning of the game. As he’s being wheeled back inside you can snipe him if you’re quick enough. His wheelchair becomes a snake seeking missile afterwards though. The actual bossfight never happens if you take him out this way.

I agree. I can see why they would do this in the main game. It would be to easy to just join someone else and get the boss done without having to spend any insight/humanity.

Souls is my favorite game series, and I have to agree these chalice dungeon, while a good idea, are really lacking mainly in the coop part

People getting so annoyed at this need to check themselves a bit. It's a god damned single player game (by and large) so if somebody who's struggling wants to cheat their way through the game just to see the content, who cares?

This is why actual cheats in games are great.
