Personally, I think it mainly changed the feel of the landscape. Many gamers prefer conventionally paid games to free-to-play, it is just that the F2P market tapped into a lot of new blood so to speak. :) And those larger user numbers are very attractive to the corporations running AAA publishers. They want a piece of

It wouldn't matter. This might work at first, but quickly it would just mean that the developers and/or publishers would tilt the scale in their favor anyway.

Leaked Video Shows What Destiny Looks Like on Xbox One

In an alternate universe, I like to imagine that all of Bungie's game are secretly linked. They already put so many references and tie-ins between all their games.

I think this is what it feels like to be a console peasant.

Hmm. Pushmo World was pretty good, so that deserves a nod of some sort. I didn't play Child of Light on Wii U, but maybe that's in the conversation, too? Oh, and Shovel Knight?

I'm hoping "That Wizard Came From The Moon" is the name of a hidden trophy.

You mean Driving Fuck

The simple truth is that only a gaggle of morons could turn something as simple as this into a "fiasco"...

No, Sony, MS, and Nintendo just straight-up give games away for promotions, no "meta games" attached. For instance, Mario Kart 8 came FREE with my choice of one of four $60 titles. And trust me, you'll never hear bizarre conspiracy theories as to why Nintendo is doing it either...

Not surprising considering Halo Reach probably had one of the fastest and most fluid UI in any game I've played.

I wish there was a segment like Fine Art that was towards UI interfaces. I have an odd affection for sexy, minimalist UI and Destiny definitely tickles my fancy. UI artists just don't get the credit they deserve because when there is great UI, the player should never notice it but the game itself.

I'm not the person you asked but for me it felt like a true MMOFPS. It has the World of Warcraft basis on loot (uncommon, common, rare, legendary, etc) and let's you take weapons and gear you earned doing strikes with other players (or found during explore missions).

In that sense if really reminded me of WoW because

I played the Alpha and was completely blown away by it. This small chunk of demo thay we got exceeded my expectations! I can only imagine how the final product can be. And just like Kirk, I too was curious of the DevilWalker and approached it very stealthy before it noticed me and started firing. Then I ran away

Great article, and after playing through the Devil's Lair roughly 9 times this weekend, I found it to become better and better. Insanely hectic, and absolutely beautiful, the music set the mood perfectly. Now that our "extension" is over with, I do find it hard to wait another month before I can play it again, and

Actually, they don't like streaming because they haven't found a way to make money off of others streaming their games. At the end of the day, Nintendo is still a business.
