I use Twitter in a similar way (tightly curated, mostly personal interest stuff) and I’ve seen the snuff videos increase almost daily. The ads are also off the rails - white nationalist propaganda, racist screeds, and just plain bizarre shit. I wonder how long the site will last at this rate.

I’ve been restricted twice over the past two weeks for things that don’t even approach the level of vileness I’ve seen overlooked on Twitter lately. It’s truly become a (bigger) cesspool.

In closed environment like a factory it’s easier to skirt safety protections. I work for a mechanical contractor on large scale industrial projects and there are so many overlapping safety procedures that anything out of the norm would be noticed and addressed fairly quickly.

It may get literally drilled into them it seems.
