I feel like JBD was screwed back when Jack Bauer cut his hand off on 24. Since then he's only ever been cast as essentially a sidekick when he could've been groomed as a credible partner/eventual replacement even. Good or evil, no matter. He's 2nd/3rd banana every time I see him

New Nightmare is probably actually my favorite, I love the first film but the inventiveness and the pre-Scream meta style really worked well for me. That and I thought Englund's Freddy in that one was at his most terrifying. The original would probably follow that and the rest of the series in essentially the order…
