I can't say I'm too surprised Moffat would give Clara a happier ending, feels like she's clearly been his favorite companion to write for. And it's given some such good work from Capaldi I can forgive that.

Mine only had an 80 minute broadcast unfortunately

Did anyone else's DVR screw them over and cut out during Clara and the Doctor's conversation? She recited back to him his words about memories becoming stories and then BOOM. Comcast flips me the bird

Found the email you referenced and even more reason to be excited, producer referenced it as Boogie Nights meets the Big Lebowski meets Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. If the love child of those films isn't reason enough to be excited I am at a loss.

Guess I'll be redirecting some of that Christmas cash

Gas leak year?

Given all the death we've seen these past couple weeks, I think what I really need is Bill Murray's Christmas party in my life.

Were Pumpkins ever really considered grunge though?

I know he had to get sober as a condition for joining/staying on with Velvet Revolver but after their initial album/tour I think he fell back in the habits. Since then it just seems like he's been in and out of rehab constantly

Good to know, I will do my best to keep myself on the path with the show.

I have a friend who's been talking it up as one of the best shows to hit TV in the past decade, is season 2 really that hard a struggle?

I got into it early because my mother was a die hard. I feel like every few months one of the songs on his discography hits me in a new way and it's like finding something new all over.

That was my reaction when the trailers appeared, but I had an X-Files shaped hole in my life that needed filling. And Fringe definitely satisfied it. That and the Walter-isms. So many, so glorious.

Compared to your pre-coma existence, how do you feel?

Just discovered Ginger Snaps as well this year, loved the first one but couldn't get into the sequels.

I've seen a few of those Starrcade matches but a couple months ago I tried to go through all the Starrcades and I couldn't get any of the mid-80s editions to load. They just took me back to the home screen. Been watching all the other old Jim Crockett/NWA PPV's and Clash of Champions though and really liking them.

Battlestar Galactica, Twin Peaks, Friday Night Lights (just started), Sergio Leone's Man with No Name trilogy, the music of David Bowie. There may be even more I'm forgetting but I feel like I've covered some good ground to start.

Feel the exact same way about Garden State. Loved it as a teen but now it doesn't resonate with me as much though I still have a nostalgic fondness for it. I hope Braff gets it together next time out, because I still love Scrubs, all 8 seasons of it.

If JJ gets another season? I can't see a reason why it wouldn't honestly!

This is one of those casting decisions I never would've thought of in ten years but thinking of Norris on VM and I can only go, "duh, of course!"
