CYOA never did get all the way into all the mind-altering, existentially terrifying implications of quantum multiversality; they did put out the meta-aware Hyperspace, which feature stuff like you reading about you reading a CYOA book…

Dolarhyde remains one of the most interesting villains in pop-lit, and there is some surprisingly lyrical moments in the book - like the short passage where a blind woman sensually explores the body of a tiger.

I don't get why someone hasn't made a film of "Hallway". The film trickery would be relatively easy to do, and totally effective.

I'm kind of sad that Pyramid Head is now a B-movie villain, rather than a semi-obscure, SCP-like mystery figure.
