Did I say somewhere that I was a fan of TFA? For the record — actually I’m already on record here on io9 that I do not like TFA and have not liked it from the get go.

I hope Rian Johnson never gets another shot at star wars again. he ruined last jedi.

All I’m reading, is that Rian Johnson screwed up Star Wars. 

It boggles the mind that they didn’t try ti at least plan out the broad structure of the trilogy in advance. Letting each director do their own thing is all very well, but these are episode s of a single story after all.

Rogue One is the only true post-Lucas canon, fight me

As someone who enjoyed Last Jedi, and loved Force Awakens (despite the fairly glaring flaws of both films) I have high hopes for this. BUT!

This is going to be a fucking disaster. KK really shit the bed outside of Rogue One.

Yeah, I just clicked through to read what exactly happened, but was 99% sure I didn’t want to watch the video and your comment gave me that last 1%. I can live without seeing this. 

I’ve learned that there’s a wide disparity in the meaning of the words “graphic video.”  For anyone who hasn’t watched yet, this is towards the “I can’t eat lunch now” end of the spectrum.  How awful.  

But the Last Jedi was shit so it makes all your points invalid.

He certainly ACTED like TLJ was the first film in a trilogy and not the second, but here we are.
