Didn’t the latest update re-broke it though?

Fallout 76 was a terrible idea from conception. Fallout is beloved for its narrative, faction interplay, and memorable NPCs. So... Bethesda decided to make a PVP online FPS survival game which has none of those things. And they decided to re-use the same dusty Creation engine known for mediocre FPS combat mechanics and

Next week they’ll give it away for free with any purchase. Pop in for a pack of gum, walk out with a free coaster for your drinks.

Fun fact: 3 bobby pins in FO76 weigh the same as a PS4 controller.

They should start bundling them with duffel bags.

Very smart campaign to convince people to buy a new controller.

Again, for the zillionth time, PVP in this game makes zero. god. damn. sense.

Hey, Alex, I know we just spent 25 years living, working and playing together while we made a dedicated plan to rebuild the world...but fuck it *stab*

To be fair, there is actually some really great storytelling in Fallout 76! The delivery mechanism (long, 3+ minute, holo-tapes) sucks, though, and at launch was bugged so it was a challenge to actually access the story content. When you’re doing stuff in game you can’t chill and listen to an audio sketch because

Fallout: A series praised for its interesting narrative, post-apocalyptic urban atmosphere, inter-faction conflict, and memorable NPCs, but criticized for mediocre FPS combat mechanics and major glitches.

I know it’s Bethesda, so this has been asked 1000s of times but, what the fuck are they thinking?

The maps are supposed to be pratically empty.  Its alot like destiny in the fact that there’s a pretty small limit to players you share a map with.  Its completely intention and somewhat in line with the story of the game.  There weren’t hundreds and hundreds of people in that Vault.

In my experience their only practically empty because of the 24 limit for such a massive map...

Mod support will probably happen in a year.

Having defended this game several times since it came out, even I cannot say this is a good idea in good faith.

The basic mechanics of PVP in F76 are jank as hell. When the game was announced I was very excited for the PVP, but it just feels bad (win or lose) to fight other players because there are so many issues with

*Shrug* Yeah it re-uses a ton of assets, it still has some new environments I like to explore as well as lore to parse through.

Not really sure why you’re saying tone deaf.... I mean one of the first things people complained about for this game was the PVP/survival or lack there of. This is them implementing it. People were complaining about stash size, what did they do? They up’d it and explained that uping it more (currently) breaks the

Not trying to “get” anyone.... just saying that for a game that has flaws (not necessarily game breaking), is a AAA title, etc.... it gets more hate than it rightfully deserves. Plenty of people buy AAA titles that use to be labeled “Early Access” which is basically what this game currently is.

Somehow I can’t tell if this makes the game better or worse.  Seems like another split of the player base on maps that are practically empty anyway.

That whole “Swiftboat” thing to smear John Kerry was the advance team for all of the Republicans’ current political tactics.. I think it was engineered by Roger Stone and his horrible buddies, too.  I live for the day when he ends up in jail, really.

My wife is white, I’m not. Our baby is part of that Minority-Majority.
